Everything at POPL, from bespoke furniture to spatial design, is crafted by Spacon & X, an award-winning, cross-disciplinary design and architecture studio based in Copenhagen since 2014. 

The team, inspired by noma’s garden—where the original burger was first served—used natural wood and colors such as poppy red, moss green, and pale yellow. In collaboration with furniture brand E15, they designed and custom-made the furniture for POPL. 

A year after POPL's opening, Spacon & X won the prestigious Wallpaper Design Award for Best Burger Bar in 2021.
